Total cost:

headphone: $200

drivers: $400

cables: $30

time: about 4 hours including a trip to home depot for a spacer.

So the surgery is complete? Very cool.

ATH-W100 shell with L3000 drivers, L3000 pads, and a Mogami recable.

I brought my tube amp home this weekend for some tuning, so my setup is not complete right now. I'm impressed though, listening out of my Zen line out to crappy cables and into the amp.
