I have made big name drops in a few other threads. If you can't guess by now... Total cost: headphone: $200 drivers: $400 cables: $30 time: about 4 hours including a trip to home depot for a spacer. Pictures: The L3000 drivers right out fo the box from tkam. (Thanks Todd!!) O.R.: w100 driver on the left, L3000 driver on the right: The finished product: The new driver nestled in comfy lambskin. I brought my tube amp home this weekend for some tuning, so my setup is not complete right now. I'm impressed though, listening out of my Zen line out to crappy cables and into the amp.
