January 25, 200818 yr what is your rationale for that statement? I've been too big of a dickhole the past couple of weeks and had to stop myself from jumping all over that second poster's statement. I'm glad you did.
January 25, 200818 yr seriously scary, definitely a case of trying to run before we can walk what is your rationale for that statement? With the heightened interest in ecology brought about by climate change there are frequent new discoveries in lifeform behaviour and interactions, very, very little is yet known about the deep sea environment (for example) and the general gathering of information about the detailed relationships that constitute earths' ecosystem has barely begun. With this in mind I think the prospect of risking introduction of new unpredictable lifeforms into any little understood ecosystem a bit unwise. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbits_in_Australia
January 25, 200818 yr Worst that happens is we wipe out life in the universe. I'm ok with that. No risk, no reward.
January 25, 200818 yr What if they build an organism that takes over the world and destroys all the humans?
