grawk
don't get me wrong, it's still not very good. I actually like the SR71 a lot with ER4Ps. It's overpriced, but still very good, in my opinion.

I think this is Ray's best-sounding portable by far, and a very nice amp. Mine was free, so not overpriced at all.

gauche
Damn the corp XP censor-crap! They blocked the utube vid, didn't see it until I got home. Stinking English Pig-dogs! Also bought some IR-film but still have to get a filter. unfortunately my filtersize is 82 and that makes it very expensive..but analogue so rulezzz! Too bad the new darkroom is still not up and running, we have a leackage in the cellar and the plummer has to pay us a visit first before repainting everything. Lack of time is a killer but hopefully soon we'll have like 2 weeks off and can fix those things. APUG is in any way more valuable than the school I'm attending now. Thinking of quiting it. I've spent 7 yrs studying it and I'm getting real tired of it as it doesn't satisfy me anymore. But we'll see.... IR film!! Where did you get that? I thought IR film was as rare as your TechPan. Too bad about the plumbing especially after you bought the jumbo sink, all stainless steel? 82mm filter: Damn, that's a big piece of glass, the largest I have is 77mm. BTW there are 250 82mm filters on EB, warning the Hass ARE expensive. A topic unto itself but NEVER leave school! Get your MFA then PhD then get tenured then... but never leave. We all did and it sucks out here.

One of the few manufacturers of IR-film...maybe even the only one...not sure. Ebay has a lot of filters indeed. Have to see what I do. I leave the IR films to the last as there are more things on my list Ow school, well I already finished one school, started on another and got my higher degree in photography and 2 yrs ago started on my specialisation grade, which just means working on a specific topic you get to choose and finish it after 2 yrs. The topic I chose is something I will be working on my entire life so it's really no biggie. I don't need that 3rd paper.

gauche
No no . You want to buy ATH-L3000. Might not know it yet. Not a can man. Pre-home-rig I had cans, now if I want to listen to cans I light up the maggys. In this era of "Hi-FI portable" IEMs are where it's at. Althoughhh I'm not going jogging with the SR-brick.
