type in about:config in the URL bar location and then filter using the word "spell". change layout.spellcheckDefault to 1 if it's not.

I can't stand certain functions.

CTRL+W doesn't close the browser if there's only one tab open.

ALT+S doesn't post reply. I know ALT+SHIFT+S does for Reply, but if you edit, it doesn't work. I know it's due to the one active button per form bullshit, but it's too counterproductive for me. =T

What OS are you using, Chekhov? (<-- spellcheck recommended that as one of the alternatives to your name)

I'm using windows xp. It's one of those redux versions of xp that has all the bloat ware taken out so it might be some problem with that.

Chekhonte was Chekhov's pen name when he wrote hacky comodies for newpapers.
