July 28, 200817 yr Author Yeah, i'm looking forward to that.. Just found out that there are already two successors of the Nehalem: Westmere & Sandy Bridge..it just goes too fast Which is why I said screw it, and bought now. There will always be something around the corner.
July 28, 200817 yr Yeah, heard about that too. Not looking foward to losing a real keyboard though.. It'll most likely accept a BT or USB.
July 28, 200817 yr Which is why I said screw it, and bought now. There will always be something around the corner. Yep, that'll never change. And I'm still pretty happy with my Powerbook which is almost 5 yrs old, it's just getting a little slow though... It probably will accept an additional keyboard but I'm still not keen on that.

July 28, 200817 yr Well I'm totally uninterested in a keyboardless tablet. I am very interested, however, in an aluminum enclosure on a regular MacBook.

July 28, 200817 yr Author AppleInsider | Apple's next-gen Macs to have something special under the hood If this is the case, I'm happy I bought the Penryn.
July 28, 200817 yr The post discounts and incentives is of course the point. There won't be incentives on the new ones.
July 29, 200817 yr Author Son of a bitch. AppleInsider | Photoshop Lightroom 2 released as Adobe's first 64-bit Mac app Well, I guess its good for me. I wont open Lightroom 1.0, send it back for a refund, and buy the new version for the same price.
July 29, 200817 yr How much, if any, of the expected upcoming changes are likely to affect the iMac? I am going to buy one soon, and I know they were just "refreshed" a couple months ago, but I can wait out the Fall if more change is forthcoming.

July 29, 200817 yr Cool, thanks fellas. That buying guide is nice, Thrice. Yeah it is, especially for longer lasting product lines like the iMac and Mac Pro.
July 30, 200817 yr so I've been in the market for a new laptop for, well since my last one went kaput several months ago. I'm thinking this new Macbook might be just the ticket, if it is indeed a keyboarded Macbook in an aluminum case. If its some lame touch tablet I'll just get a discounted refurb blackbook after the announcement.
