Well, I know that. Maybe I wasnt clear enough, sorry. I came those National Electronics across and wonder if they are just rebranded Gold Brand Sylvania's, cos the price differences are just double high for Gold one.

It shouldn't be at all surprising to find tubes that appear to simply be rebranded. It happened all the time and Sylvania appears to be one of the manufacturers that did a lot of the supplying of tubes to be rebranded.

But where's the fun in that? Obsessing is the secret sauce. ;D

IMO there's a big difference in the quality of the solderings at the tips of the pins. The Sylvanias look cleaner and smoother.
