January 18, 200917 yr So I have done a couple of soldering projects and both of them have not turned out so great. Just wondering if there is a good online guide or some place I can look to get some decent tips. I know a lot of it just has to do with practice, but I feel as though I am missing out on a lot of the subtle little things that will make soldering in general a lot easier on me. Any help is greatly appreciated.
January 18, 200917 yr Good idea. Micheal (ingwe) had a full head of hair before that terrible soldering accident. If he had only read the tutorials first.
January 19, 200917 yr He does a reenactment of it at meets too, great fun. What's sad is I know you really mean that Ryan. Good idea. Micheal (ingwe) had a full head of hair before that terrible soldering accident. If he had only read the tutorials first. Not to mention my blood-sugar was normal and I slept normally...

January 18, 201016 yr After you see the videos and read online information, it's always good to buy a perfboard and a few resistors(the cheapest you can find ata local store) and just practice soldering. Watching the videos doesn't replace a bit of practice!
January 19, 201016 yr You're a helpful lot, but this thread is one year old and the OP hasn't posted since last April. Grave robbers.
January 19, 201016 yr You're a helpful lot, but this thread is one year old and the OP hasn't posted since last April. Grave robbers. I keep seeing January 2009 on forums and think it's a current thread. Fortunately I haven't bumped any of these threads
January 19, 201016 yr I've had the same misapprehension, but in this case the thread must have been pretty buried. Kind of a clue that it isn't current.
