That's still "old school" to me...... Had to look it up, but the 3rd man in rule and no players off the bench rule were created in the mid-to-late 70's! That surprised me a bit, I thought 3rd man in was much later The extra 2 for instigating was 1992.....

Toronto doesn't make the playoffs because their fans will sell out the arena no matter what. Montreal is generally really tough. In general the NHL is divided into haves and have nots, like most other sports. If you can afford to skirt the salary cap rules, have good management and coaching, you can put together a perenial team. That's about 8 teams in the NHL. Then there are another 16 teams on the bubble every year. who compete for the other 8 spots into the playoffs. Then there are the 6 teams that for a number of reasons just can't compete. The islanders, jets, panthers, jets/thrashers, bills, and lately the oilers fit this category.

Waiting to take it home

The Shure SE-215 are my work phones, and I love them. Super comfy, great sound. They are also super durable. In my line of work things can get pretty rough. I work at an all raw ground beef smoothie store (Postie's Beef Smoothies, check us out), and my SE-215s have gotten sucked into the Vitamix more then five dozen times, and they still work great. But then when I bring them home my dogs smell the ground beef and use the SE-215 as a chew toy! Still works great though. Everything I'm around smells like ground beef all the time.
