Absolutely, but Senn said from day 1 that the HD700 was a scaled down version of the HD800. I'm all for options at various pricepoints and SQ levels. Market diversity is wonderful. But releasing a new "flagship" product every ~18 months just feels slimy.

I got the other channel built. Came up just fine I'm really loving the sound. I haven't compared it yet to the BH or KGSShv. The width on this is 7". So far so good.

I use that same shop-vac for small jobs, like emptying out toilet tanks and bowls. It'll work great, won't take up a lot of space, and you'll find other uses for it. As for pan cleaning tips...You can buy large bleach pellets (hockey puck size) at pool supply stores. Put one in the pan and it'll usually last all season.

I use the one linked for cleaning up chips on the CNC and it works well enough. There's also a Stanley in the same price range that is taller and on wheels.

Got me a nice set of Jon Bonamassa concert Blurays. Really looking forward to watching them in my HT setup. Used to listen to him a lot on the SiriusXM blues channel when I was on the road in my motorhome. He did some guest DJ'ing and the other guys would then play a lot of his stuff after his show was over to give him props.
