Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's first sonically accurate man. Tyll Hertsens will be that man. Better than he was before. Better. Stronger. Faster.
My ass hasn't touched a bike seat in years, but my sister-in-law completed her first Paris-Brest-Paris randonnee“ last week. Apparently it was pretty hard!
I have it set up on dashboard on my music computer, and was kinda freaked out when it started playing tonight. Hadn't anticipated it, and thought something weird was happening
I know, I know... sigh. I'm told that his folks sold their home in the Tampa area and moved to somewhere in Tennessee (I think it is) where his sister and thus their grandkids live. I meant to follow up with them just to stop for a visit, but never did. I still see a number of his friends every now and then. Nothing else was ever learned concerning the puzzling circumstances surrounding his death, not that it really matters because nothing can bring him back. But anyway... happy birthday, Matt!
Speaking of salmon, this was grilled on a cedar plank and basted with lemon juice and agave syrup. The rice, by Debbie, had lime and cilantro. And the sauce for the fish was sour cream, garlic, dill, Dijon mustard and lemon juice. My plating skills suck, but the food was excellent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Salmon saison of coarse. My Mom and her husband are flying to Alaska today, for a few weeks. I'm hoping she'll bring me some Alaskan smoked Salmon, or Squaw candy, as it's known there, though that sounds terribly inappropriate today. It has a harder smoke, and is cured with honey in the process. Yummm!!!
Got this in the other day - a 1960's Omega Seamaster 300 from NOS parts except for vintage Omega 565 movement (from Watchco), which included an 1171 bracelet and a shark mesh bracelet. I was lazy and put it on the first NATO I could get to. It's only gained 1.4 seconds in the first 24 hours on my wrist, and the lume glows like a torch after being in the sunlight and then going inside or into the shade.
