  4. What a crazy run the Warriors have been on, if they can pull off the 73 wins and then win the title that'd be a hell of an accomplishment.

  5. Fuck it, I just ordered one... Has to be a variation of the Egmont but yeah, it will be fun to rip it apart.

  8. As as can be seen in the photos, I've received the display cover I ordered for my BHSE's amp section, which was to the measurements I asked for. I also asked for part of the back panel to be cut out for cables to the BHSE. Because I'm so impressed with this cover, I'm going to order something similar from the same company for my 009's. For my 009's though that are on a headphone stand, I'll get a cover with a front opening door so I can get to the 009's without having to remove the cover altogether.

  9. Fine. I'll order the ERJ-P08F51R0V today. Thus the Shipping will be postpone further, probably until friday this week. It will add 2USD to the kit that will include both the 0805 and the 1206 resistor. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  10. That was a nice pass Sam. Well done. Larry on my model year the 5 speed is good for at least 350whp. If it breaks I'll do an sti 6 speed swap. The 6 speed is good for 600whp.

  11. I used a 9v battery and a multi-meter. connect the 9v battery to the primary temporarily and see the fluctuated secondary output voltage to be positive or negative. then you know which way to go. I have not tried the KG methods but it appears to be very convenient.

  13. As an outsider, if the Carbon is using the Cree SiC transistor from the link 3 posts above, or similar, then probably it is the best SS amp for any Stax, including the 009 and the 007 too. The technical characteristics of that device are amazing, except perhaps for input capacitance, but it's transistor and not a tube, and it's nevertheless perfectly capable of driving any Stax stat to the owners' deafness with very high fidelity, more so than any other amp (this side of the T2).

  15. Interesting. As of right now I wasn't planning/daydreaming about a gearing upgrade. I was just looking at a suspension, clutch/flywheel, stage 3 and LSD. Edit: It appears that the Getrag in the car deals with all that just fine...

  16. Xavier and I got 17.42 miles in today, which was our longest ride together. I wound up finding the puncture and it was next to the rim tape... some sharp scratches. I don't see how he could have done THAT damage, with nothing in the tire at all, but shit happens. Showed him how to replace a tube/tire (without levers, but in the comfort of home and better lighting, and a floor pump) and we were off. He did great! We probably should have pushed to 20 miles just to say we did 20, but we had about a 1 mile gradual climb to end it, and it gets a bit steep for him (for now) just before home. He walked, and I rode slowly beside him until he could hop back on when it plateaued. Had a blast, and we should be able to get another few miles in tomorrow after school. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/1121017927 **BRENT**
