My son has two cats. Where has one of them gone? Has he got out onto the road? Is he lost? They eventually, after a good deal of panic, found him fast asleep in speaker wadding, having gained access through the reflex port of a very large bass guitar loudspeaker he has. I suggested he discourage this behaviour by firing up his 1kW bass amp and playing a few notes when the cat was in there. Meeeooow!
  2. District 97, Stay for the Ending -- just released, I got my physical copy yesterday, so great, very prog, much prog, high production values, RIYL Steven Wilson, Jethro Tull, American Idol (I jest, I jest!), lots of dynamics (gets very hard and very soft)
  3. Spent the morning sort of woodworking. Thinking of selling these as a craft kit, as the cutting is by far the easiest part and the painting and gluing is a pain in the ass.
  4. Pffft. I could cut all of that out on a scroll saw. It'd only take me 372 hours. Seriously though... A kit is a great idea, because parents love to get their kids involved in these type of holiday crafts, and there's nothing dangerous left to do.
  5. Southwestern Tacocat and I wish you a happy birthday!
  6. Favorite South African band. Went to school with the drummer. Probably not entirely PC 10 years on?
  7. Street Survivors Lynyrd Skynyrd 1977 https://album.link/i/1484692844 Example: Remembering Ronnie on the anniversary of the Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash on this day in 1977. The album that was released three days before the crash that took 6 people's lives. I saw them once they regrouped with brother Johnny singing in 1988, along with the Rossington Collins Band at the Concord Pavilion. It was a good show, but of course not the same. Edit: Correction - SEP 27, 1987 - at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre... {Friend Richard, who has a much better memory than myself provided clues to find the actual show). Oh and here is the setlist - https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/lynyrd-skynyrd/1987/irvine-meadows-amphitheatre-irvine-ca-1bc6ddc8.html
