  1. One of those songs that sneaks up on you gradually. Robert Quine (Voidoids, Lou Reed, Brian Eno, Tom Waits) on guitar.

  7. Got roped into seeing Kelly Clarkson at the rodeo with a bunch of friends. The rodeo was great (and cheating on my diet was also) but I don’t understand why people love Kelly Clarkson.

  8. I have a vague memory of Dr. Smith being in a goofy kids series with Robby the Robot but I don't remember Peepo. I remember the girl was in a creepy Star Trek episode

  11. Returning to missed shows from the exotic 70s, when every channel needed their own Han Solo/Buck Rogers, they kinda needed a Wonder Woman too - The Secrets of Isis. Starting with episode two, though one is further down. Personal space seemed different back then.

  12. Once again Tiny Desk inspiration. Several years ago Madi did a Tiny Desk At Home that led me to her Album at the time - "History Of A Feeling" which I really liked. And then I lost track of her and she has put out 4 albums since. oops. So... Fatal Optimist by Madi Diaz (2025) https://open.qobuz.com/album/nsfpkr7hq7ric Example: Good album. I will have to check out the others she has released.

  13. Glad you posted that Jimmy. I've read all of the Dept Q novels by Jussi Adler-Olsen, which are set in Denmark, but it seems they kept the characters and themes the same. Gonna check it out.

  14. Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell dies aged 64. Wizzo was Motorhead's longest serving guitarist. While nothing tops the band's classic power trio era, the Campbell years were often very fruitful. Especially with Mikkey Dee on drums.
