Yeah, we tend to be pretty informal in the Canadian prairies. Also, I get a pass since I'm part time in the office but also part time inspecting construction sites. But really, in a farming community nobody cares as long as you don't go to town with cow shit on your rubber boots.

I'm a public servant. When my boss hired me she said the dress code was business casual. I said okay, but I'm going to wear jeans, to which she responded that she would also be wearing jeans.

Do you know how to snowboard, Mike? I don't think I've ever had more fun than snowboarding in fresh powder. The new forecast has us only getting 2-4 cm, so that's okay. Just went lake skating and it was awesome.

There's thick hoar frost on the power lines and we've got a Colorado Low moving in tomorrow night. Expecting 5-20 cm of snow, and I will be really surprised if we don't lose power.

Glad you're on the mend with the back Brent, but sucks about the leg. I've had some mild to moderate back pain for the last month, and I started physiotherapy yesterday. I think mostly I need to stop a) sitting in an office all day, and b ) lifting heavy things when I'm not at work. I'm hoping the prescribed exercises will help with long-term core strength and prevent future flare-ups though.
