Renlute and CEE TEE, let me reiterate what's been said earlier. Please don't take the majority of the criticism in this thread personally. Your hard work organizing is completely separate of the issues many of us have towards HF the last couple of years. And some of the differences between this meet and previous ones (organizers, payments, attendees, even old time members aware of the meet) were too easily a sign of that community change. Having been in the hobby since '03, in many ways this meet feels like a first to me, and I suspect others may feel the same. We're just pointing out changes, some we're admittedly sad to see go, and commiserating. As a whole it really doesn't have anything to do with you two. Honestly, best of luck and I hope it's a success.

After hearing a bunch of gear this weekend, it's clear there's still a balance issue with my JH13s. On my last attempt to fix I was so happy just to get the leads in semi-position (so much better than before when balance could be off 20 degrees), and willfully wished not to send back a fifth time, I ignored the obvious. Why I didn't think about adjusting them in the ears (right pulled out a bit) to see if I could align center I'm not sure. Once centered (even if seal in jeopardy), they sounded sooo much better. Recommended getting another impression, so two new sets going out to JHA tomorrow. Pick the best set Jerry! Please oh please get it right this time. Especially with JH3A/JH16s coming soon.

Anyone watch the pilot? On the plus side someone is finally using Jennifer Beals and the rest of the cast are interesting choices (and faces). On the negative it's from the creator of The Shield (characters are consistently constipated here too) and every fifth word of the script was 'Chicago' ('That's the Cha-cog-oh way!', 'And that's how we do things in Cha-cog-oh!', etc.). Strange mix between Scorsese-lite action and horrible TV dialogue.

Lower speed model with 128GB SSD upgrade comes in $14 more than faster model. I'm using educational discount (as nearly anyone can), but similar otherwise. You're losing space, but likely gaining speed. Course you can do the SSD thing separately for cheaper.

Old thread bump. Thinking of the same and possibly Y adapter cables available around. Know there's a bunch using similar RCAs, don't know the unique properties of XLR splitting. Anything I should consider/beware?
