For those that are looking for a sleep app, the Pzizz folks just came out with their iPhone apps ('rest' for naps with alarm at end, 'sleep' without). Currently, each $2.99 for next seven days, then goes up to $9.99. I'm a big fan of the Mac modules. Different than a lot of similar apps, as the tracks are created on the fly based on your settings. You don't keep hearing the same tune over and over. Anyway, thought some of you may be interested, especially those who travel. Review of their Mac versions here.

Warning: It's a lot like COPS, without the cases. Add a movie star, who while no doubt has some skills, always seems to be, besides the camerman, the guy furthest from the criminal (though seems to be frustrated by not being in on "the action"). As an added bonus he explains the complex scenario for audience members who've become confused by the weird editing "this guy robbed that place. My training..." and intersperses the word "peace" around for good measure.

That's interesting morphsci. Makes me reconsider my power situation as the midrange is the biggest reason I side with the HD580/600. And I definitely agree there's a strong relationship between the K701 and HD800. More so than either with HD580 or K1000 (which I both have). The HD800 description of "K701 on steroids" is spot on in my book.

It was a little weird to watch the K701s fall from grace quicker than most FOTMs. I like them. My biggest beef is simply I prefer the HD580/600s across more genres and equipment. As tkam said, the K701s signature can make it a bit distant. Find the Senns a better middle ground between the AKG and Grados.
