  1. You can see some of the highlights from the Google interview: Watch Conan O'Brien's Illegal Jay Leno Impression - Conan O'brien - Gawker
  2. How are you guys feeling about your GB model choices? Thinking of picking up an iPad for my girlfriend and curious if people are filling up memory quicker or slower than expected? Still only have under 10GB on my 64GB.
  3. Googles increase is a good sign and a Google v. Apple battle is a worthy battle in my opinion, but I doubt marketshare is Apples primary target (at least not while there are freebie/buy one get one free Android deals). Personally, I find the G/A marketshare tussle less interesting than the Android v. Android numbers. Plain vanilla implementation may not be enough (as others have stated maybe the reason for HPs move away?) so it will be interesting to see what HTC, Motorola, etc. does with Android compared to the others. Sense UI and all that. Guess the other big question is is there any room for Windows 7 Mobile and WebOS or is this a three horse race now - assuming RIM doesn't blow it? Or are we taking bets on how long it will take RIM to blow it?
  4. It's mouth looks a little sad.
  5. I'm sure many already know this from their 3Gs iPhones (I never investigated as I have the 3G model), but Star Walk is cool as hell. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZC8kKVeSbg Much better when you use the iPads compass than your fingers though.

  9. Ugh. Mostly just previews. Anyway, Cloud Browse is free right now and finally seems to be working. Runs at least some Flash.
  10. Nic Cage as Everyone
  11. Anyone found a good RSS app to interface with Google Reader? Website problematic when bouncing back and forth in windows (and reloading) and ByLine iPhone app (which is great) is not out for iPad.
  12. I'll still visit. Just 40 min. south to Mountain View. Will make commute and Google search results much faster. 'burbs scare me though.
  13. Jamming with an iPhone & AirCurve as I pack for a next to last load of crap in a move.
  14. Hello have case now using dragon dictation iPad for all posts this save top hello time Sent from my iPad

  19. Less than I expected. As the pads get kinda crushed against your head, due to the phones weight (something else to consider), you get a decent seal. Less leakage than CD3Ks.
  20. I don't know if this is common knowledge, but until a Hulu app comes out try http://m.nbc.com for 30 Rock, etc.
  21. They do suck if you have the flu. One aspect a should probably clarify from total agreement with Waynes comments is there is still a little Lambda metalicness versus say the K1000 naturalness (at least until the low end). In that sense it's a little different that "just the recording" but that is easy to forgive compared to most other closed phone issues. Damn it's kinda hard to type on the iPad.
  22. A little Conan-Google action...
  23. As I'm in the middle of a move I haven't spent as much time with the 4070/007t as I would like, but I'll second Waynes comments. I've found my closed cans. Coming from Lambda Sigs and Lambda Nova Sigs the extra detail/texture is the first shocker. A little slam on the bottom in comparison and a much enclosed soundstage hits after. No doubt these are closed in the soundstage department. Got lost in some Everything But The Girl about ten minutes after putting them on. Still some of the Lambda etch, which I prefer to the laid back SR-007 Mk2 with vast majority most electro amps. Then add power. I was a little worried as I didn't think the SRM-007t exposed the true differences between the Lambda Sigs and previously owned Lambda Pros, but the 4070 seems to pair well here. Source differences such as Para d/ac 1600 v. Pico were shown clearly. Though I'd like to hear other amps, with the 007ts availability and going price (not to mention a few features like balance controls), I'm happy sticking at this point. As I worried my money was mostly going for the cans closed aspect only, it's great to truly get a jump in SQ over the Lambdas (several times over the differences of the various Lambdas I own or owned). They're even tempting me to get rid of the K1000 (practicality and that low end), but going to need further tests for that. I also tried the 4070/007t under flu-conditions. It sounded screechy, overly Grado-like in awkwardness and induced intense headaches. Not recommended.
