Awesome. As for an adapter, I'd order directly from Lenovo. So many of the aftermarket stuff is crap that there's a good chance you'd just be throwing your money away on it.

Ummm, you still need a transformer for the PS. Which would be with the audio section in a single-chassis build. Find Nate's posts regarding PS transformer hum in his 3-channel Beta and the bitch it is to rid an amp of it. I think they're concentrated in the Headwize B22 thread.

I too enjoyed Dr. Horrible. Definitely chime in with what you think of "Wonderfalls". It definitely ranks among my favorite series. And it's one of the few that may have benefitted from cancellation as the concept may have worn thin if it lasted longer. The short run let them bring things to a logical conclusion without overstaying its welcome.

I think what he's saying is that there would have to be a separate amp section that would handle pre-amp duties if it were an active pre-amp... The amp section of an electrostat amp isn't suited to that. Otherwise, as a passive pre-amp, all it does is attenuate input (and possibly select inupts).

My folks came down today and my dad helped installed new flooring and finished the wainscoting, chair rail & molding in my bathroom. I still need to do a little clean up on the drywall, prime the wood, caulk stuff around the shower and then paint, but it's getting closer to being done. My dad kicks ass.

I think he wants to DL stuff already hosted. There is... You can only download so much with a Premium account before they'll bump you to the next day. My account says 10 GB... So that seems to make sense. I got bumped once a ways back when it was more like 2 GB but it hasn't been an issue since they increased it. And as an unrelated note, I see they increased their upload size to 200 MB! Kick ass!

I'm a big fan of Wonderfalls. It's from Brian Fuller (Dead Like Me, Pushing Daisies), and all 12 or 13 episodes were available on DVD after FOX cancelled it after two episodes aired.

Just came out today, with 15 extra minutes! AintItCoolNews had an interview with Alex Proyas and he said how it originally tested poorly, and he gave into pressure from the studio to do some work on it. And over the years, he forgot just how significant the changes were. So this is pretty close to the movie he finished before the suits started in on him.
