  2. the gs-1000s should be a good match with cardas headphones wire (with good xlr plugs, of course)...silver probably just won't do with grados because of sibilance.
  3. yea thats a lot of money for switching from a standard headphone plug to a pair of neutrik xlrs.

  9. heh i wasn't trying to waste anyone's time. an electrostat rig was just a random idea came out of nowhere - i wish i was loaded too.

  11. which solid state amp should i go for? the 717 or the KGSS? i know a stock kgss is 1.5k but i don't know how much does the 717 cost...
  12. IMHO the hr-2 is probably ray's best amp (with the right op amps).

  15. umm i think i am pretty much the only one with deep purple heart senn woodies...and you know i like them. greater isolation with increased focus, dynamics and transparency.
  16. wma lossless files are from my pre headfi days, those tta files are japanese music i can only get my hands on through bit torrent and emule...
  17. i actually have a lot of music in wma lossless and tta...
  18. i thought they would sing about something more interesting...oh well heh.
