  1. I made the mistake of checking out the other items that "little ear earring" guy offers for sale: http://www.etsy.com/listing/96355517/little-penis-ring?ref=v1_other_2
  2. This is awesome. Don't suppose the camera crew gave it away though... http://devour.com/video/uncle-drew/
  3. Some new ones in there... "You're about as useful as Anne Frank's drum kit." "The sound of your piss hitting the urinal is feminine." "I hope you step on a LEGO."
  4. The last half minute is the best.
  5. This would have been an annoying double post had I not removed it promptly and notified you of my error.

  7. In that region, tornados tend to follow the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah River, which as we all know, have only marginal (mostly folklore) associations with West Virginia and would seem to more appropriately describe western Virginia.
  8. I know this is old news, but I just stumbled across it and it make be chuckle. Just some random shit, like everything in this thread: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnWBbqOBBSM&feature=related
  9. I'm just thankful that Al Gore invented the internet.
  10. I guess because some people think they know everything, so it therefore becomes all about about the buzz and the ego trip of being able to sit down for an hour or two to fidget with the little box until you can say, "That's it! It's a wrap!" The same people who think they can review every pair of headphones on the planet and tell us exactly what is good, bad or indifferent about them (and then are willing to fight to defend their impressions). That's the audience they're looking for.
  11. Seems interesting... http://www.head-fi.org/t/612445/ultimate-ears-personal-reference-monitors-the-custom-custom-in-ear-monitor Of course, I never know what my "sonic preferences" are from day to day, so no doubt I'd fuck it up from the get go, and end up with an unlistenable and unsellable pair of $2k earrings. The fancy wood choices sure are dandy though.
  12. Austria! This guy is right out of Dumb and Dumber.
  13. Yes, she does need a visit from Santa, but everybody needs that! Actually, my mom is nothing like your mom, at least when it comes to computers. She's perfectly happy with not knowing anything more than absolutely necessary to do basic things like email. I've been trying to get her to download Skype for months. She'll say, "You can set it up for me next time you come home," to which I'll say, "Just type skype.com and follow the instructions for setting up an account. There's really nothing to it... won't even take 5 minutes!"

  15. It sounds like your mom is just an incredibly self-dependent and intelligent woman who has a strong locus of control. She wants to understand everything so that she won't have to rely on you or anyone else, or will at least be confident that she'll know what questions to ask when she does need help. It's probably more of a generational gap than anything. If she were your age and grew up with this sort of technology, she would know this stuff inside and out because she's so curious and determined. The irony is that by trying so hard not to be burdensome to you, she makes it impossible for you to help her!
  16. My condolences, Archos. Try to be one of the strong ones.
  17. Absolutely sick!!!
  18. Ya! Would make a nice snorkel though.

    Audeze LCD-2

Looks like they've made some nice cosmetic improvements along the way. Like the new look headband as well. Don't know how new that is, but new relative to the one that's on my LCD-2 (version whatever the original version is called now). Good to hear that The Monkey likes these! They're outstanding headphones, and don't become any less-so simply because other new shiny stuff has come out in the meantime.
  20. Sorry I missed your birthday. Hope it was a Brent-worthy event.
  21. Would be fun to try at Mayberry sometime. I think JP could pull it off.
  22. You owe me 3:20, Ric.
