  1. Brilliant idea...
  2. Great news, indeed!
  3. Yes, well expressed, Al. He was a convincing character. 95 is wonderful age that far too few people ever have the opportunity to experience.
  4. They came forward with it and reported it and took the fall, rather than hiding back in the shadows like all of the rest of the banks are doing so that their bad acts will get buried in the mix of news of wrongdoings of others. "More than a dozen other banks are also being probed as part of the rate rigging investigation and many are expected to be fined, but for now Barclays is standing alone in the centre of the latest storm over standards in investment banking." http://blogs.reuters.com/felix-salmon/2012/07/06/barclays-first-mover-disadvantage/
  5. Nice, Stretch... although I still contend that despite the pounding they're taking now, they did the right thing and will be rewarded in the end. I spent 5 years at Barclays Private Bank, and must say they are very conservative.
  6. Except it looks like they've been there for quite a while and would not be very useful, like when you find rubber bands that have been in a drawer for 10 years. Here's the website for the restaurant: http://www.pda.or.th/restaurant/restaurant.html
  7. My niece and her fiance were there recently. Last, but by no means least...
  8. Happy Crappy!
  9. ^ Just when you starting to look like you've made it into your 20s you've got to leave them behind! Reminds me of Neil Young's "Sugar Mountain"... "you can't be 20 on Sugar Mountain, though you're thinking that you're leaving there too soon."
  10. Happy birthday!
  11. Was probably posted already... but it sure made me chuckle. 1996, when I first moved to Cayman.
  12. Happy birthday, Justin!
  13. I'd just hang out eating scary doughnuts myself, but I guess that goes without saying... You know it's a big book store when they hand you a map of it when you walk in. Powell's City of Books http://www.powells.com/ The parks are great. Forest Park is practically endless with lots of cool trials, and don't forget Portland's Japanese Garden. Bridges everywhere, and always swarmed with people on bikes in the summer.

  15. You shouldn't go anywhere without your unit. You never know what someone might do to it in your absence.
  16. Happy birthday, David!
  17. Blondie. Think I prefer Oates myself.
  18. Pretty soon it will be live video, I suppose. http://showmystreet.com/
  19. I made the mistake of checking out the other items that "little ear earring" guy offers for sale: http://www.etsy.com/listing/96355517/little-penis-ring?ref=v1_other_2
  20. This is awesome. Don't suppose the camera crew gave it away though... http://devour.com/video/uncle-drew/
