^^^ Not SmugMug, but I have had problems uploading to PhotoBucket from LR3. Same issue(s) ... sometimes works fine, sometimes times out after 1 or 2 photos exported. Only difference I see is that the SmugMug plugin comes with LR, but the PB one is 3rd party. Annoying, no?

And now what did you do TODAY?
Congrats, Birgir! Me like cake ...

Jeff ... have you upped the Nex firmware to ver 03? Sony NEX firmware 03 first impressions: Digital Photography Review Major improvement, and has made the Nex very friendly to photographers.

Jeff ... no focus confirmation, but the movable, magnified manual focus aid is terrific. I will typically shoot in aperture priority mode with mf lenses, letting the camera choose shutter speed.

Been playing around with Nikon mf lenses on the Sony Nex 5. I love being able to use the older Nikkor manual focus lenses that are plentiful and relatively cheap. Here is the Nikkor 300mm f/4.5 with the Nex 5 on the back. Here is a bird shot with that combo (f/8 @ 1/500, and straight from the camera with a slight crop.). A little soft, but it was very windy that day.

cj ... here's one (Canon Rebel T1i, the USA version of the 500d) on P.O.T.N. that went for $550 including a grip and other extras. Canon Digital Photography Forums I would think $500 for that kit would be fair asking price.

What are you drinking now, pt 2.
Yeah, Al is getting into fashion photography for cocktails. Al, did you intentionally use low aperture to get that shallow dof and nice bokeh? Does this mean we need a new thread? Something like Images of Pretty Drinks, or maybe Umbrella Drinks on Parade?

More great zoo images, Jeff. Tell me again why we didn't go to Lowry Park Zoo while you were at TamJam? Oh, wait, I remember ... CCB, Mons Venus, Bern's, La Teresita, Square One, Ella's Soul Food Sunday, etc, etc. Love your enthusiastic posts and images .... keep it up. One of these days, I'll put up how much I like the Sony Nex 5, especially when coupled with some old school Nikkor lenses. Happy shooting, all.

What did you do today?
I'm no Doc nor have I evar played one on TV, but I clearly see an "X" at the big round knob at the top of your arm bone (excuse the technical terms). Have you recently pissed off any residents of Haiti or NOLA? I ask, because it looks like voodoo to me. Posty ... are you down there sticking pins into a Jacob doll?

Geneapalozza: A Celebration Of All Things Gene
Being Sunday evening, only the upstairs bar and deck were open with a limited menu. Burgers were awesome, however, especially washed down with a draft pbr, and I would definitely go back.

2010 HC Holiday Gift Exchange
These beauties just arrived from Ken (guzziguy). I am thrilled, as these are two of my favorite beers in the world, and total unobtanium here in the east.
