Yesterday, my wife tried pre-order through the Apple site (for the July 14th date, obviously) and after getting through most of the process, it told her to go to an Apple Store so she can actually pre-order for the latter date. She drove to a nearby Apple Store and explained the situation to a salesperson who was rather unhelpful and appeared to be clueless. I guess we'll be waiting until the damn things are actually in stock at this rate.

Picked up my new car a day early. I like it.

Some of that is probably graphic card/chip, assuming you've got an integrated graphics. Lightroom definitely runs better on my (relatively) ancient iMac compared to my (newer compared to iiMac) MacBook, even though MacBook has more RAM, faster CPU, and faster HD.

The chassis reminds me of one of these on its side. In any case, their amps do look interesting and the prices are certainly right.

Trying my best not to get angry or annoyed at people. Items were turned into me for review/edit and when I went to see folks responsible for some questions, I was told the said items are actually not done/ready. Why did they turn them in if they're not done/ready, I've no idea.

Agreed (in regards to the serrated knives). If it weren't for those two serrated knives in the set, I'd have bought them a second, even though we already have few Shun Classic knives.

My better half told me that she tried to pre-order one for me on Monday (as a surprise gift for me) but she couldn't get it through either on Apple or AT&T. Now it's looking like mid July at the earliest assuming we head over to Apple Store sometime soon to make the pre-order (Apple site still isn't working right, at least for me).

I wonder if they're getting swamped with orders - the whole process (to delivery) was really quick (much less than two weeks) once they'd received my ear impressions.

I played with Fit's Magic Seat system before making the purchase and it was neat to see how much cargo space they really squeezed into the tiny car. It'll also be nice to be able to put in a car seat for my daughter - my old Civic was a 2-door and using a car seat with it would've been difficult.

Hopefully Friday, as that's when I'll be picking it up. As much as I'll miss my Civic, it'll be nice to have a car with usable cargo space for a change.
