Dropped off my car at my mechanic after getting a series of horrible metallic sound from it this morning. Hopefully, it's nothing major but won't know for couple of days and I must say the timing of it just sucks (not that there's ever a good time for your car to have problems).

At the price point they are planning (less than $400), I doubt they'll add a BNC and I don't think most their target market cares for or has a gear with BNC output. While separate option for it would be nice, I think the one of the reasons they can keep the price down is by not offering any options.

I'm not sure if it matters for you mom, but I'd look at the list of songs in the game before buying the Beatles Rock Band for her. There are many songs I expected to be in the game that are missing from it. Released and planned DLC (Abbey Road and SPLHCB, with Rubber Soul coming next) fills some of the missing songs, but they add up quickly. Tried making beeswax/mineral oil mixture to use for butcher blocks and I definitely didn't get the ratio quite right. At least it should be easy enough to fix later.

Basically echoes my experience with them. Also, it probably helped that I was either driving them with GS-X or B22, IIRC. Yeah, I doubt I would have been able to use mine if I had more hair (I shave my head regularly), as my head is definitely on the big side. They did give me a bit of a headache if wore them too long, though to be fair, most headphones give me headache with the exception of Grados.

Just finished off shoveling the snow off the driveway. Thankfully, the forecast was bit off and we only got about ~3" instead of ~7".

Frick. Now I have to decide on Pico Slim or a home amp that would work well (i.e., no hiss or hum) with JH13.

Color me jealous, Andrew. Really contemplated getting a snowblower this season, but decided it's an extra expense I can live without after paying for the kitchen. I'm certain that I will be regretting this decision sooner rather than later.
