Transport with AES digital out?
IIRC, CEC CD3300 (or CD3300R) has one, and you should be able to find one under $500. I know nothing about its performance as a transport, though. EDIT - corrected the model number.

The Emmeline II B-52
This is why I should check A-Gon more frequently.

Oh the irony :)
You didn't really think it was going to last, did you?

The sickness has spread - the vinyl rig begins...
I have to do something about my table placement as well. My apartment has a wood floor and it transfers just about any and all vibrations to the table. I might just get either a wall-mount platform or something from Gingko.

Congrats on the phono stage, Nate! I really like the wood front panel. What cart are you looking to get?

In case you haven't seen it, you can check out the detail (and buy it) from the Moon Audio site. They start at $2200.

Cool, thanks for the link. It made for a nice read as I cleaned my records.

That's a great news, Ethan. Glad to hear you finally have your player back and running. On a unrelated note, my mechanic did me a favor and we did eventually work out a deal - which means I probably didn't have to sell the 701's. I hate my car. Oh well, I'll probably grab some IEM's with the 701 sale money.

The E500's are in...I'm impressed!
Congrats on your new toy, Ken! Keep us posted if you do any comparisons between your full-sized cans. I was really looking forward to getting a pair, but new front suspension for my car put an end to that plan.

In 5-10 days...
Mmmm, tasty all black rig. Didn't know Stello came in black. Love the huge selector knob.

Microsoft's Zune
Any guess on how long it'll stay on market? I'm guessing less than a year unless price is cut drastically.

How about DV-60, so I can listen to it?

So why had PS Audio stopped making the ultmate outlet?
It's not all that much bigger than UO and I think it actually sits lower than UO, IIRC. It's footprint is 8.5" x 8.5".

So why had PS Audio stopped making the ultmate outlet?
They replaced it with UPC-200 (& UPC-200HB).

MAX BALANCED
I wouldn't be surprised if HD700 (or whatever it may be) came out with non-detatchable cables.

Congrats on your new amp! What cans are you going to be using with it?

Zhaolu...wtf?!
The posts about noise and buzzing that I had spotted amongst "This is the best ever!" posts were the reason I ultimately decided not to get one. Damn, I miss my Mini-DAC and ECD1.

To vinyl or not to vinyl, that is the question...
I actually got the table and phono stage (along with some IC's and few accessories) through a trade for my KGSS. Gingko does make a nice looking dust cover, but mine's not made by Gingko. I found an eBay auction for it by chance and won the auction - the original owner of the dust cover had it made by a local plastic shop. Few folks in the Audio Asylum has had success in having a local shops make one for them. Defintiely not as nice as Gingko ones, but a lot cheaper (Gingko dust cover for Scout starts at $240 new, IIRC).
