  1. That's definitely a nice unit. Some people think that a wide belt sander will do the job of a planer. It will not, but as a very effective way to sand things, it's fantastic, but it'll never take away 1/8" of material. At least not in less than 24 hours and several expensive sanding belts.
  2. And that reminds me of something else I really missed, since the start of this damned pandemic.
  3. I can't tell if they're trying to sell pizza, or trying not to sell pizza.
  4. What? No bacon? Unsubscribe!
  5. Savage Gesha? Coffee never sounded so sexy!
  6. I predict Grado will collaborate with RuPaul's Drag Race, and develop an IEM that doubles as glamor earrings.
  7. My previous dust collection system didn't use cyclone technology. At that time spongy membrane technology was the state of the art.
  8. Who is William Shanter?
  9. I love that you named your door pan Karl! (zoom in)
  10. Looking great!
  11. Bacon scramble at Hilda's in San Anselmo, where there's still no biscuits for Brent.
  12. That's why I'm engineering Square trees.
  13. It's such a treat to work with straight and true lumber again, and normally I don't like anything straight. 😋 I also like that it's going to look like it's always been that way. And if the shop ever goes away, we can just cut a door into the back wall, because there's a bedroom and full bath behind the garage. Put in a kitchenette, and you have another goldmine Fairfax rental. Or put an aging Carpenter up in his old age. 🤪
  14. Being from Alaska, my Mom made sourdough cinnamon rolls. You just made me homesick. Her sourdough pancakes would have impressed even the best chefs.
  15. This was a few weeks ago, but just got pictures after installation today. It's a floating bench that a customer asked me to build to match their dining table. It's 8/4" Rift Oak.
  16. Turkeys back in the yard today. I don't think they liked Suzy's welcome.

I couldn't even stand up on my 60th. Oh what a joyful day that was.
  18. Nothing compared to my other neighbors... Had six of them inside the fence yesterday. I don't believe these are of the jive variety.
  19. Was talking to my Mom on the phone, when something flew in the front door. I caught it out of my peripheral vision. Assumed it was a big moth, so I kept talking to my Mom. Once I hung up, I went into the bedroom to investigate. Whatever it was, Suzy had it trapped under a nightstand. I flushed it out, to find it was a big ol' scrubjay. Took a little work, but got the poor bird back outside relatively unscathed.
  20. That looks good enough to eat.
  21. Just re-read. I wasn't suggesting a wet t shirt contest. Get the board wet, not yourself. But Nate is right.
  22. If you get really wet, then park your car on it. Worth a try.
  23. Short answer... not really. Heat and steam, but not sure how you'd accomplish that on a 16' board.
  24. Obviously I have no issue with cross generational relationships.
