  1. Reks, get some fluids into you and eat something.
  2. Went to ANOTHER child's birthday party. Jack later refused to eat his ravioli because it was "too shiny." My shins are hurting from jogging the last two days, and then Jack gave me a good swift kick in the balls (by accident, or so his mother would have us believe) before I put him to bed. It was almost lights out in more ways than one.
  3. Yeah, I really hadn't given Safari 4 much of a chance. But I'm really liking it now in terms of speed. I do miss the add ons with FF, but those create their own problems.
  4. FF 3.5.2 is horrible on my Mac. I'm actually considering going back to safari.
  5. Ugh, so sorry to hear that Al. I'm very relieved to know that Claire is ok. Did she get checked out by a doctor? That gag reflex is something, isn't it? I've had it happen twice in my life: once upon learning of the death of my uncle, and once when Jack took a spill that I was certain had really injured him (it didn't).
  6. Also, make sure to hit Fort Sumter to find out more about the War of Northern Aggression.
  7. I like Charleston.
  8. It's about 179F here today. Went to a 3-year old's birthday party in Brooklyn. Jack hasn't napped. Won't eat. And is yelling at me because one of his fire engines isn't "going down enough."

  13. Good god, that looks nice.
  14. Tried to get people to make decisions. Failed. Made the decisions for them.
  15. "This is because jaw movement slightly alters the shape of the ear canal. With IEMs, you need to maintain a good seal when your jaw moves into a wide-open position while singing or speaking." See, this is the part that I am wondering about. I suspect that most of us are not putting these IEMs through the rigors of a stage performance. So while my jaw may slacken a little, it's never wide open when listening. Do you guys think there may be a "performer" setting and a "monitor" setting?
  16. Are you ready for some football?! All signed up.
  17. Stupid balanced/unbalanced world.
  18. Fighting a losing battle against a headache...
  19. Well, the guy who did the original art is gifted. And sorry if this has already been covered, but what is the purpose of doing the impressions with mouth open as opposed to closed?
