I liked Rachel Getting Married better. John Demme is one of my favorite directors. But I also really enjoyed Batman. I thought Heath Ledger lived up to the hype, and seeing it in IMAX was a treat. Lagged a bit in the last 1/3. Overall satisfying, though.

I went in with very high expectations, so that is probably part of it. I did like Mickey Rourke's performance, though.

That's a very nice piece of gear. The thing I like about the HR Desktop is that it has really become a Swiss Army Knife piece of kit, but without sacrificing SQ. Plus you know that it will play nice with just about any phones you throw at it.

Here are some prices for those interested: SR-404 Headband - $135 Mineral Wool - $15/pr Acoustic Foam - $9/pr They do not sell arc assembly separately, according to Yama, but it is listed as a part in stock at the site that Spritzer helpfully linked to. So I will ask them more about that. Instead of giving me a price for the arc, they asked for the serial number. Why?

It's the GSA GENERAL PURPOSE WRISTWATCH. But this one has MaraGlo instead of the tritium vials for illumination. I know the tritium stuff is safe (enough), but I figured no sense in risking it with a little one around. And it was pretty cheap--$110.00 MARAGLOW INFO

Took the little one to the FDNY museum. He got bored. Then went to the Ear Inn for lunch, which the missus and I forgot is really just a bar. So he went to his first bar today.
