I was assuming everything is freqphased now, but I can confirm. There were tear sheets at the table explaining the process. It will be interesting to see how they handle the PR because Jerry's kind of saying, "Yeah, y'know your old JH13s? Well, I was wrong..." My old JH13 still sounds great, but I think they are taking a little risk retaining the same model names. And it's unfortunate that the old versions can't be tweaked.

Both. The sub makes a big difference, but 2 channel was still pretty good, though a little bass shy. Their subs are affordable, though.

Not I, but Naaman made me go to the MBL room and that was seriously worth it. I believe Naaman made it to most of the speaker rooms. People tend to get out of his way.

Yes, the JH16s are now freqphased, too. Yup, sounded pretty good to me. Nice and airy for a closed can. Kind of like a Thunderpants without as much thunder in the pants. I believe they are LCD-2 drivers, but could be wrong. Apparently, they've been working on it for 8 months. Doesn't sound like it's coming ot anytime soon.

I'm still adjusting to being back and dealing with family and work stuff, but it was as a great time. JH16 stole the show for me. Didn't hear them straight out of a smart phone, but I imagine they will be just fine. The tweaks JHA made makes the differences between the JH13 and JH16 clearer, with the JH13 being the more "linear" and the JH16 being more, well, fun. We didn't have much of a crew in terms of numbers, but we had quality. More later, but for now it was just nice to see everyone and have a brief respite from a pretty shitty time back in NYC.

559 + 19 (some sinful) = 578. Met freshman year of college. Never thought it would end, especially not the way it has. But we were happy for some of it. And I have my son as a result, the single best thing that has ever happened to me.

CJ, I've been checking that. It was a hot debate about the D7000 re back focusing. Wondering if perhaps that could be an issue. More likely I am the issue though. I'm going to rent a D700 again to see if I find it easier to focus. Could be I just don't like/understand this focusing system.

This decision is going to make me crazy, but I am leaning toward gray. If not gray, then black. And I like the fancy feet. And I guess I should get an HE90 jack, y'know, just in case?
