To be honest, I've experimented with all of them. Haven't found one that I love. I find that it often hunts a bit more than I like.

I had the D50. Much easier to use for me (because I'm a novice), but also much less capable. I think the 7000 is just a little twitchy. It is obviously a very advanced camera, but getting the images you want, at least in my experience, is not a snap. Part of that is because I have advanced in terms of what I want to capture and am still learning, but part of it is that the D7000 seems like it could use a little bit of refinement in its AF system. EDIT: If possible, I strongly recommend renting one to see how you like it.

I like but don't love my D7000. I think it feels the same about me. I find it harder to get consistently great shots with it. I know that says more about the photographer, but something about the AF system irks me.

I'm a big fan. One of the most comfortable 'phones I've ever used. And the sound is very good and smooth for what I believe is a single driver. And they are tiny.

There's that, too, but from the reviews I've read, it seems like either go all in with the 15" rMPB or go light/mobile with the MBA.

At this point, I'm wondering how much I would use a new iPad. My son uses mine more than I do. I still prefer working and playing on a laptop more than the iPad. I guess I prefer movies on the iPad, but that's about it. I guess I'm old skool like that. So, what I really think I need to decide is whether I get the 15" rMBP or a 13" MBA. I think the mobility of the MBA wins. But not sure.

I've noticed that my 1st Gen iPad has become annoyingly slow. I'm not sure whether this is due to upgrading to the iPhone 5 or an actual degradation in performance. I actually wiped the device and started fresh and it's still sucky. What gives?
