Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
Yes, for those of us who are not as tall as others of us, the ID is kind of a big bag. But I still love it and it works great as a carry on. And you can fit a ton of stuff in it without it getting too bulky.

Looks like about 1/2" freezing rain/ice outside right now. Should make for a nice trip in to the office. Fucking winter.- Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse

The cache I have fits my iPad with the official Apple case. Is there more than 1 iPad cache now?- Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
One problem with Tom Bihn: expedited shipping charges. Jebus. I'd love to get a couple of packing cubes for Mayberry, but I'm not willing to spend $1.3 million in shipping. Eagle Creek makes decent packing cubes right? I probably don't need to get too obsessive about packing cube brands...do I?- Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
Shelly, I love the ID and I think it works as a carry-on, but it's not exactly compact. I have shoved it under my the seat, though.- Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse

IS that good or bad?- Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
Shelly, that bag looks awesome. I'm a boring suit, or I would snap up that indigo in a second. Also, the Bihn blog notes that they've got a bunch of "ultraviolet" (purple) color fabric that will be finding its way into the larger bags soon.- Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
You're on to something. It's her birthday soon, but she hates non-rollers. And as she travels all the time for business (much more than me these days), but maybe I can place a "bulk" order.- Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
I ran into a bunch of those sites/forums, too. While I tend to agree with a lot of it, some of the approaches really aren't practical for business travel. And by that I mean travel that requires 1-2 suits and shirts that simply can't get wrinkled. Otherwise, though, I like the one bag idea.- What are you drinking now, pt 2.
Aeropress coffee. So much better than the other crap I've been drinking. So. Much. Better.- Post the last thing you bought!
Ugh! The land! Not the land!- Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
You rock, Vicki. Exactly what I was looking for. I broached the topic of needing a new carry-on with the missus. Bad idea. And of course I know much better. Always broach such topics AFTER the purchase, if at all. Anyway, I had hoped to be sporting a new Tristar out west, but no dice. Maybe I'll get some packing cubes, though.- Post the last thing you bought!
I will be copying this shortly. (But only after doing hours of research of course.)
