  1. Yes, for those of us who are not as tall as others of us, the ID is kind of a big bag. But I still love it and it works great as a carry on. And you can fit a ton of stuff in it without it getting too bulky.
  2. Happy Birthday Jeff!
  3. The tristar will be coming out in black with ultraviolet lining shortly.
  4. I'm ordering the Tristar this weekend.
  5. 2 of the airplane size Jack Daniels on the rocks. Keep em coming stewardess lady!
  6. I think it's equal parts urine and Boone's Farm.
  7. Looks like about 1/2" freezing rain/ice outside right now. Should make for a nice trip in to the office. Fucking winter.
  8. River Horse Oatmeal Milk Stout
  9. The cache I have fits my iPad with the official Apple case. Is there more than 1 iPad cache now?
  10. One problem with Tom Bihn: expedited shipping charges. Jebus. I'd love to get a couple of packing cubes for Mayberry, but I'm not willing to spend $1.3 million in shipping. Eagle Creek makes decent packing cubes right? I probably don't need to get too obsessive about packing cube brands...do I?
  11. Shelly, I love the ID and I think it works as a carry-on, but it's not exactly compact. I have shoved it under my the seat, though.
  12. IS that good or bad?
  13. Shelly, that bag looks awesome. I'm a boring suit, or I would snap up that indigo in a second. Also, the Bihn blog notes that they've got a bunch of "ultraviolet" (purple) color fabric that will be finding its way into the larger bags soon.
  14. You're on to something. It's her birthday soon, but she hates non-rollers. And as she travels all the time for business (much more than me these days), but maybe I can place a "bulk" order.
  15. I ran into a bunch of those sites/forums, too. While I tend to agree with a lot of it, some of the approaches really aren't practical for business travel. And by that I mean travel that requires 1-2 suits and shirts that simply can't get wrinkled. Otherwise, though, I like the one bag idea.
  16. Aeropress coffee. So much better than the other crap I've been drinking. So. Much. Better.
  17. Ugh! The land! Not the land!
  18. You rock, Vicki. Exactly what I was looking for. I broached the topic of needing a new carry-on with the missus. Bad idea. And of course I know much better. Always broach such topics AFTER the purchase, if at all. Anyway, I had hoped to be sporting a new Tristar out west, but no dice. Maybe I'll get some packing cubes, though.
  19. I will be copying this shortly. (But only after doing hours of research of course.)
