  7. Pinky fingers? Fuck that. Return keys are for bashing with the base of a closed fist, it sends out the ranty internet opinions with extra force.
  8. How you colonials cope with those tiny return keys I'll never know.
  9. Is there a difference between an iron smith and a blacksmith or is it just terminological?
  10. How about instead of establishing a numerical system, because the pins aren't asymmetric like on a 4 pin XLR, naming them by what they are? B, R-, R+. L-, L+?

That makes me want to film the St. Andrews Pub Crawl on Saturday... Purely for the purposes of anthropological comparison between two student cultures of course... then again I don't think that those chaps were all students.
  13. I'm now not sure if you do get the adapter with it. The two are listed seperately on Precides pricelistings, but the box has a cardboard insert for it and it seems to be listed with the headphone. I think that it's listed seperately for those who first buy the headphone with the Amp1 or Amp2. But yeah, it seems more logical to buy the headphone and then you'll have spare bits to flog off or use for something else. Theres a pretty small market for Hirschmann connectors though. Still got to add on the as yet undetermined costs of putting together a total assembly to make the drivers sound as they should. The total costs are certainly going to be K1000 price level.
  14. It's about $1000 for the complete headphone including the impedance adapter/notch filter box. For two each driver?

But really didn't seem to know what they were talking about, got basic terminology staggering wrong, contradicted themselves (sometimes within the same sentence) and induced fist itching in my right hand.

  18. Worked on my dissertation, sorted out the last details for the annual monster pub crawl, worked some more on my dissertation. Ate too many biscuits and got indigestion. Procrastinated a lot online.
  19. Hippitty Burpdai Old Boy! May your loins be filled with AKG!
  20. Now supports apple lossless. Good. But the controls on the wire? Daft. That'll be undone for the 4g I'm certain, a bit like the non-fluid sidestep they made on the 3g ipod with 4 buttons above the wheel.
  21. Take it on the antiques roadshow and find out if it's genuine.
  22. Maybe its the dynamic 2. where the .1 is an electrostatic subwoofer? *cough*
