6:45 AM and we are getting things prepped. 25 pound turkey goes in the oven at 7:30. I should have gone to bed earlier.....

What Nate said Dusty. For me, I went to the oral surgeon to have a tooth extracted. Right before Thanksgiving. Ugh. Thank His Noodly Appendage for Tylenol 3 with codeine. I was going to wait until after but it got painful on me and it had to be done. Now I have a couple of months wait and then an implant install. Additional dental work is also in my future. All because I hate dentists. I am trying to change this.

Ric, I'm glad it turned out to be a minor incident. Greg, in regards to fencing - in the last Olympics I was fascinated by fencing, both men's and women's. Not sure of others watching it on tv but I loved it.

Wow. I thought this would be easy. Not. 1. King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King Heard this at age eleven. Mind blown. Life altered. 2. King Crimson - Larks Tongues In Aspic The second coming... not really but to me. 3. Neil Young - Rust Never Sleeps I'd always loved Neil Young. Here he preceded the indie crowd by a bunch of years. And proved that welfare mothers make better lovers. 4. Be Bop Deluxe - Modern Music Has anyone else ever heard of these guys? Bill Nelson was a guitar hero, but jebus did he write nice lyrics. 5. Brian Eno - Here Come The Warm Jets Purchased in a snowstorm in the early 70's. Bought because the butler is lifting his lady's skirt so she can let go the "warm jets" (Hey, I was a kid and there was very little porn available in the 70's). What I ended up finding was a non-musician who spoke to everything I needed in music. Pop/Risk/Insanity. This is still an album that totally sucks me in. And runners up: David Bowie - Low. Patti Smith - Horses The Stooges I'm old, but these still speak to me.

The tickets are actually for the May Indy Car road course race on the old Indy F1 course. I'm looking forward to going back to the Brickyard and watching a whole bunch of cars dive down into the turn 1/2/3 complex. And yeah, if you have not been to an F1 race Mikey you owe it to yourself. The noise is glorious and will probably still be so with turbo'd V6's. I'd like to hang with you in Austin in the future as the 1st year was a good deal of fun. And I do tend to rant about F1, but to me there really is no other game in town. I'll follow it until my eyes open no more.

Debbie bought me race day tickets for my Xmas present so we will be there for race day only.

So... Vettel, Red Bull blah blah blah...... Kimi not paid, says he'll boycott the last two races. But wait, no, now it's back surgery. Must keep up appearances. Perez in the doghouse and Magnusson possibly getting a 2014 McLaren..... Massa to Williams as predicted but they say he is not a pay driver. Lets see whose logo's are on the car next year... 2014 cars a complete crapshoot, except only one team has Newey... And Ferrari still using their wind tunnel to suck and not blow. I do love my visits to The Circus. Happy USGP folks. Let's hope it's fun and Brazil as well. Then we can sit back and hope everyone is even next year. At least that's what I hope. Cheers!
