Not now but soon.. My wine dinner starts in 1.5 hours and I can't wait. The theme is 1988/1989 Chardonnay/White Burgundy. Will start things off with 1989 Krug Champagne, then transition to some 1989 Montrachet then a 1988 Chardonnay. If we are still standing after that then we will try a Rieussec to tie it all together. Woohoo!

Mikey, Happy Canyon is a nice place to be. Taking a cue from Mikey and the warm weather I am having a Kistler Vine Hill Chardonnay. The canyon breezes will kick in at around 8pm this evening so I will have another Ashe Vineyards Entre Nous, the 2008 this time since the 2007 was so enjoyable.

Fitz, I would recommend you make an appointment with an allergist next week, you obviously have a horse meat allergy and who knows what other undiscovered allergies you may have.

Ashe Vineyards Entre Nous Cabernet Sauvignon. This is an incredibly delicious Cab, if you have the opportunity you need to track one down, a 2007 or 2008 if you can. Only four barrels made so it will be hard to find but this represents a true hand crafted Oakville classic Cab. Goes great with today's sunset!

I'm not so sure, I have been strolling around that site for the last hour and a half waiting for it to get blocked or some secret code to come up but nothing. Hmmmm, perhaps another hour is required.

Lail vineyards J. Daniel Cuvee Cabernet Sauvignon. Had a slow start but after ab out an hour opening up this cab has grown legs and wings.
