What did you do today?
Wow a close one Al, thank goodness the wife is alright. Spent the last couple of hours cleaning out the turtle tank. Next to administering a cayenne pepper enema to a Tasmanian Devil, I cannot think of a more unpleasant task for a Sunday afternoon. Glad it's over and time for the sundown ritual.

Amarra "Mini" -- $395
*snap* I need to pay a visit this week to my scotch guy and try some of the whiskies he always manages to track down.

Amarra "Mini" -- $395
Yikes! The wish list is getting rather expensive. Amarra 4 seems to be the way to go. Time to listen to your advice Mike and take a wine holiday in favor of a Hefeweizen remainder of the year fest.

Amarra "Mini" -- $395
How is the Amarra software licensed? Per user, like Microsoft Office or per machine? If I buy the Amarra software soon I would temporarily load it onto the house Mac for now then a dedicated Mac for just my music later on. Al, is your Amarra 4 a Mac only interface or can it take a digital signal from any source like the ULN 8?

Your recent music purchases
Yep, my contact (and new BFF) ordered two of everything and decided he only needed one set so I get the second set. I had been kicking myself for the past couple of months for not getting in on the set from the beginning so now I have been given a second chance. I guess I lucked out this time. Oh, and JP#s is my enabler too.

Vickie, I now have visions of Jack Nicholson and Ken Kesey, and no I do not think of you as nurse Ratched. More like Randle McMurphy's alter ego.

Another SACD/K2/Telarc/etc. sale
I ordered thirty and they were all cutouts, for some reason I think that is part of why they can offer them for so low and not piss off the manufacturers. Aesthetically not the best but for SACD, K2 20 bit, RVG, and OJCs for an average $5, I can live with that and will buy more if they offer more of what I need/want.

Another SACD/K2/Telarc/etc. sale
Yes it is and the vinyl is not too shabby either. Some of the 200g vinyl is the same price as anywhere else though, but it still won't stop me from ordering next week after I pick up some Bordeauxs Reks found for me.

Just wait until tuition kicks in, and of course there are Lily's music lessons. Sometimes I wish my daughter played the harmonica instead of the piano, I would be well on my way to that Emm Labs dac by now.

What are you listening to Part Two
Bach 6 Suites, the MA Recordings 88.2kHz by Matin Zeller friggin' nice! The wife and I rented The Soloist last night which gave me a big hankering for this. The Starker needle drop is on deck, this should be a high rez evening of Bach cello.

What are you listening to Part Two
Not what I would expect from OJC, if the music were anymore recessed, it would be coming out of my neighbor's stereo.
