The jvc marshmallows do have a lot of bass but they are also an extremely muddy headphone. Nothing sounds natural about them. The problem with finding a bassy IEM in that price range is that manufacturers of high end IEMs are trying to make them sound somewhat neutral and plus bass heads seem to like bass slam which I've never heard in an IEM.
happy thanksgiving from a native american that's so disconnected from his culture that he doesn't care about what a crock the lore behind thanksgiving is.
I'm not sure if anybody else would want this but I for one really would like to too see it. It's so disheartening to see something you want in the first post only to find out it was sold 11 posts down. If this forum software will allow it, please make it happen. so I can go from

I learned the joys of using a miter saw last week. I had a couple of projects for school that required me to build a few wooden boxes and I decided to put a miter joint on the side walls. I felt like only a minor woodworking hack instead of a total one.
no, it was about 8 months into the factory warranty when the headphone jack went out.
Also, I haven't read this anywhere but with the 120GB classic, they fixed the quirky clickwheel from the first 80 and 160gb versions.
I bought a couple of days ago an iPod classic 120gb after the headphone jack broke on my 80gb classic. I sent my broken one in for repairs and it's amazing how quickly they sent me a box to ship it in, how quickly it got there and how fast they shipped me a refurb. The turn around time was 4 days from when I filled out a repair form on their website. I think I'll stick with ipods for my mp3 player.
i just used my gaussmeter to measure the strength of the magnets in my headphones. My shure e4 and e5c had 2 gauss which is next to nothing. My alessando ms2i had 200 which according to the study had a potential to interfier with pacemakers.
wow that's pretty amazing. I'm interesting in seeing if mine are shipped the same way.
by the way aerius, may I ask what you are using the magnets for?
Florida for some reason has been my whipping boy for a long time. I used visit my grandmother there all the time in the tampa area and there always seemed to be the craziest people I've ever seen all around.
I know you live in florida boomana and I don't mean to include you in my general assault on floridians. I know you to be real salt of the earth.
I keep being tempted by this magnet on ebay--but at 500 dollars there's just no way I'm going to do it any time soon. It has over a 1/2 ton pull force.

Fortunately the picture made it look way rustier than it actually is. A wire brush and lubricant took care of it in only an hour's work.
I'm glad somebody is taking an interest in this project besides my girlfriend and I. I'll be sure to keep this thread going as the project moves ahead.
I think i'm just going to spend the money on a dc power supply. I really don't have any experience with them and really don't know what to buy. What kind will power an electromagnet?
