I'd like to but the to get what I get with the sidekick I'd have to spend about 110 dollars a month while I only spend 65 with the sidekick.

I agree. I am always snagging my cables in the sculpture studio on all kinds of shit. I also do a lot of woodworking and will, I'm sure some day saw through the cable.

I think that you have a better rig than I. My senns sounded rather bass heavy and a little boomy. I've only been listening to the se530's for a few hours so my opinion about them may change in a few weeks.

That's interesting. Perhaps my amp wasn't up for driving the 650's but I find the se530 to be faster than the 650.

I bought a pair of shure se530's from gtp and love them. They are by far my favorite IEM and I've owned most of the shure line. They actually remind me of my allesandro ms2i's but with out the punchy bass and clear mids.

I've never been able to get a good seal with the tri flange tips. I think that some people's ears have more abrupt curve to them than other preventing that long sleeve from going in properly. When I'd stick them in my ear all the way it would crimp the tube and there would be no sound coming out. I'm glad to hear some more good impressions of these headphones since my pair are going to be waiting for me in my mail box today. How exciting.

god, in my town vinyl is a social marker. I know over ten people that have a 5000 + record collection. I know a guy that has his vinyl collection insured for 50k. These are people that hover around the poverty line, not a bunch of rich kids. They are are all like jon Kussak's character from Hi Fidelity.
