  1. I just bought a 320GB portable harddrive for my laptop.
  2. Humorously, this on of the more happy pictures of my cat. He has a permanent scowl on his face. He isn't unhappy, he just looks it. In this picture he has a little hanable lector in him.
  3. you guys all smell
  4. I'll start this thread off right with one of the more idiotic pictures I've ever seen of myself.
  5. holy cow! Happy birthday. Thanks for making this forum happen I can probably speak for most of us when I say that we love it.
  6. I broke my shitty phillips fullsized cans about 6 years ago and was going to buy a new pair. I decided to use that new fangled internet to do a little research to see what was out there. A google search turned up IGN.com and their review of the full line of grado headphones. I decided to buy a pair of sr-80s and was astounded by how great they sounded. I did another google search and found head-fi. A few years later I actually joinded head-fi. Then another few years later I started to get really annoyed by all the bullshit that goes on over there and decided to get myself banned. Then I found this place and have enjoyed the hobby ever since.
  7. I had an insane couple of days. I went to portland and stayed with my an ex. she now has a hairless cat. We got drunk out of our minds, went to the strip club and on the next day went to a nude beach. We however did not get nude. I snagged some pictures of that crazy looking cat. I'll post them when I get them off of my phone.
  8. I remember that analogy on the SATs.
  9. so are laptop power adapters built to only last about a year so they can make more money on their criminally over priced ones?
  10. That's it. I'm going to the store and getting some chips and ingredients to make salsa.
  11. I didn't catch that but man that's funny. That dude probably made a video of himself delivering his own eulogy for when he dies.
  12. I'm right there with you. I really love that show too. I watched it for the first time last fall and I've been thinking about watching it again.
  13. yeah that's a basic salsa recipe but a good one none the less. Thanks for sharing grawk.
  14. Assonance is a good word to know. I've actually wondered if there was a word with that definition before but have never run into.
  15. this will go nicely in the documentary I'm making "OCD throughout history".
  16. for some weird reason I'm watching the 9th season of the x files. Even though I know the new movies going to suck, I'm still looking forward to it.
  17. I may be a little late in saying that sounds delicious but I'd also like to ask for the recipe if you're willing to give it out. I'm a huge fan of salsa and I say thing entirely without ego, the hotter the better.
  18. how many heart containers do you think g w Jr. has?
  19. wow, I didn't know that that trackball had a scroll wheel around the actual ball. I kind of want to check it out now. edit: looking at the cost I don't think I'll be picking it up anytime soon.
  20. dusty, here's the deal with trackballs as mice. Assuming that you're going to use this as your primary pointer navigation device you're going to need one with a scroll wheel and that really reduces your options to the logitech "trackman" and the microsoft trackball which is now out of production but can be had on ebay for usually over a $100. The microsoft trackball is better action to it but for me, isn't worth the extra $75 over the logitech brand. Another thing is that it takes quite a while to get used to a trackball. It took me a couple of months to actually start to like it. You'll also have a lifetime of complaints from your friends trying to use it and not liking it. They do build keyboards with trackballs built into the place where a touchpad would be on a laptop. I haven't tried one of these but it might be nice to be to navigate with out taking your hand off of the home row since trackballs can be navigated with your thumb and touchpads can't (at least for me).
  21. Ah, that's good to know.
  22. I'm curious. Why do you feel that the 32 bit version of vista is better than the 32 bit version of xp?
  23. it's cool dude, watching people die just really weirds me out.
  24. please don't post links that show people being killed with out a warning.
  25. I think you're right aardvark. I used it for quite a while today and warmed up to it considerably. The only thing that I don't like about it is that there still are some programs, mostly freeware, that aren't yet compatible. Peerguardian 2 being the main one. I'm going to keep in on there for a month or two and I'll see how I cotton to it in that time.
