anyone have a part number for the 1M trimpot? I bought one which I can no longer find, and even then it had the trim screw on the side of the package

What are you listening to Part the Third
I didn't know there were so many jerzz fans here

Are you using a filament and HV switch instead of a delay?

Have you written any posts on how to adjust the fit for 007s properly? I'm too much of a wuss to bend my pair around with abandon

KEF LS50s or ?
Not if your lighting casts reflections everywhere from the white gloss finish. If they did cast nipple afterimages they should be marketing it to me as a real feature I bought parts for the CSX1 amplifier, hopefully there will be some synergy between these components. It didn't sound ideal but the VFET devices seem cool

conversely, are you saying the 009 doesn't need fit adjustment?

Is it possible to use the e80cc in place of the 12au7?

Everyone needs to stop endorsing the 009 right now or else I'm going to end up ordering one off price Japan

I don't mind the Stock Mullards but I prefer the RFTs

a shame about these issues that the SR009 has, considering the usd to jpy exchange rate is almost 1 to 114

to clear dust from the assembly there is an air bulb from giotto? that I've used in the past with some success

that happened to the 007 I mentioned, just shifting the earpad fixed like 6 db of imbalance

I second spritzer's suggestion for BNCs, though finding nice connectors tends to be expensive. Looking around for one to shove into the SDR2000. If you want to spend money the guy from AR-T sells the ubyte BNC cable for $200

What would cause excess current draw? I guess that's one reason to build the 500V version of the kgsshv

so all diaphragms are modulated in this way by the 60Hz? not that I can remember but I thought the kgsshv psu derived the bias voltage differently. I started thinking about how the hum and squeal might be related, thanks for clarifying. Is there something that could make a specific pair of ES headphones more susceptible to this than another? sensitivity?

I'm not sure what you're getting at, it's present even with no track playing- as long as the amplifier is on

KEF LS50s or ?
Those also look nice but I still prefer the original black and tangerine. I kind of wish they hadn't opted for the gloss finish though

I was PM'ed by someone on head-fi regarding the KEF LS50. Double rainbow, what does it mean, etc. If I didn't buy a used pair already I'd give it a shot. you can get it from www.partsconnexion.com for $1100 Just speak to Chris the owner and say Dammika.J sent ya Hey Colin: sent you a PM btw

Has anyone experienced AC hum while moving their heads around while wearing the 007s? I'm using my formerly-imbalanced pair with the BHSE and 323s and it seems to be consistent across both. This doesn't happen when I move the cable, just my head. If I make more sudden movements there's a more familiar squealing, not sure what that's about either. I think the hum is similar to transformer hum

For all that waxing you didn't actually mention what you don't like about the BHSE, only what DACs work?

I'm enjoying mine, different presentation from the mergatorn. it only makes me want to build the t2 though. similar effect where it's really easy to listen way too loud. I should probably try be more aware and keep the levels down
