A bargain, to be sure. I owned a Rollei TLR for a short while. It was a mid-1950s Rolleicord (the "cheap" line) and it was in dire need of CLA-ing (Cleaning, Lubricating, Adjustment). I traded it for an Canon EF 50mm F/1.8 Mk I. The original model that has a metal lens mount and a distance window. It looks nearly identical to the 35mm F/2. I do have vague plans in the future to get another TLR. One that actually works. As sexy as Rolleis are, I will probably get a Seagull or maybe one of those 1970s Mamiyas with swappable glass(!) Don't hold yr breath on any of that.

They're Honduran seconds, mostly robustos and two coronas. There's a liquor store near me that sells them 3 for $5. I bought some in September and quite liked them. This time avoided the maduros though. They were unpleasantly strong.

All this Beyer interpolation has inspired me to dig out my 'dynamics. I have a stock pair of 2003 880s and a balanced pair of 2005 880s. Generally speaking, muchly-unloved cans on H-C (which is true for most of my collection, come to think.) I haven't listened to either pair of 880s in several years at this point, a fact I attribute more to me owning too many cans than my taste for either one. TBH, I basically never detach my 650s from my HRBD nor do I remove my 590s from my GLite. Maybe I only need two "serious" fullsize cans, with the rest being for DJing or field recording. TL;DR: IMMA CHARGIN MAH BEYERS!* *Would I had those rare Beyer stats, then this would actually be true.
