  1. That's the one plus point that I can see. Along with perhaps the utility gain that it can be set at.
  2. Keep in mind that the intro price is $425, and that's limited to 200 units (or whatever number he gave). The regular price is $425.
  3. I'd say it's because the Pico sounds much better than the Predator and because with medium gain I had to crank the volume knob to maximum to get a decent volume level out of the thing. Also also, with a high gain setting of 11, makes it all but impossible to use.
  4. I haven't noticed any lag and I use several USB devices on my computer along with the Pico.
  5. haha. ouch. I'd just put him/her/it on ignore.
  6. Oh ok. I have no idea what market rate for sextetts is. Not like I need or really want more headphones anyways.
  7. Compared to the other pads, yes they are
  8. Well right. I used a pair of them way back at the maxi meet (in 05 I think). I've heard they really screw up the sound.
  9. Eh... the price is fair. Of course most of that money goes to the C pads, as the other stuff doesn't cost that much. Hmm, been kinda curious about the sextetts, but I would bet they are sold already.
  10. In the case of the Opus it's a $5000 one and the comparison is more like $1599 vs. $5000 vs. whatever the philips originally sold for.
  11. I'm guessing Headroom (not Headamp ). Unless of course the AKG parts department has somehow become very uncraptacular lately.
  12. Given the difference in price between the two, it's good to see that the 840c actually does hold up.
  13. The thing didn't work properly from the start.
  14. Are AAA and 9V batteries under the classification of low output impedance?
  15. The last thing I bought was a thing to ship my PS3 back to the seller....
