Howsabout stealing the sound of someone else's headphone to use in your own system? Shouldn't you just buy that other headphone if you want that sound? Precisely. I once handed a comedian $40 because I'd downloaded all his cd's. Didn't necessarily want physical copies because it's standup, how many times can you really listen? But I wanted to give something back and I told him so.

Anything in a digital format should be far cheaper than its' physical counterpart, but that's just not happening yet. There's absolutely no way I'm paying $10 for an e-book on Amazon or $10 for a full length album (in a lossy format) on iTunes. I'd much rather check that same book out of the library, pirate the cd, and decide later if it's something I need to buy to support whoever created that content.

Terrapin's India Brown Ale is damned good. Basically an IPA with lots of dark malts so it's extra smooth. Terrapin went from one of my least favorites about a year ago to doing interesting stuff on a weekly basis. Their "Side Projects" have been excellent.

I definitely won't be buying the bundle but I may pick up one of the new Gretsch or Rickenbacker replicas to replace my dying GHIII controller. Neither of those are included in the bundle, which is insane. To put together a complete set of Beatles instruments with the game, you'd drop $450.

Yeah the Circus Boy wasn't very good the one time I tried it. Haven't had any other Magic Hat beers since Bonnaroo in '06 but they were damned tasty. There was one limited release type thing that they had a keg of, called Chaotic Chemistry and I hit it at least 20 times over the weekend. I see that's a regular brew for them now, it was advertised as a one-off at the festival. I need to get my hands on some eventually but it's not distributed here yet.

MM's a weird chain because the beer selection is entirely up to the owner/manager's preference. I was in Tallahassee a few weeks ago and after stopping into their Mushroom decided that their distributors must just have jack shit for beer up there. Later on I walked into two different bars with pretty awesome selection.

Xingu. Black beer made in Brazil. It was recommended to me as being better than Kostritzer in the schwarzbier style. I loves me some Kostritzer and it's one of my main cheapish beers. So Xingu is decent for the style. Much sweeter than its' German cousin, so that takes some points down in ultimate drinkability but still not bad. Any schwarzbier or black beer just begs to be paired with a simple old PB&J (raspberry preserves for me), and this one works perfectly. Route Des Epices from Brasserie Dieu Du Ciel. It's a rye beer brewed with peppercorns, and it's alright by me. The spice did build but never really overpowered a nicely balanced slightly thick beer. Downloaded the first season DVD's and I've been watching. Awesome show so far.

I have a bottle of each that I'm going to sit on for a year and then try this. I'm finding that I keep gravitating to medium to high ABV stouts as my favorites. Brooklyn Black Chocolate, DFH Chicory, Bell's Expedition, and Mikkeller Black are all on top of my list. Haven't actually tried the Worldwide yet, I guess I should pick up a bottle. Still have love for IPA's and Belgians but I love the extreme drinkability of a good thick stout.

I choose to believe that "farmer" Baltar was killed by a lion after about 3 days in the wild. It's the only way that I can begin to accept that horrible ending. Just finished watching about 2 minutes ago.

Anybody bother to watch the Frakkin Special? Guessing there's nothing all that interesting, just a last chance for Sci-Fi to save some ratings before they go back to having nothing.

I didn't think about the fact that it's on PC. I don't generally enjoy online FPS on my 360, so hadn't bothered with this one. Built a new PC last month so it might be time to pick it up. Anyone here still playing or feel like playing through again?

Yep Fuzzy's Fuzzbox or something of that nature, I think I had that in my sig for a while. And yeah it generally referred to a preference for tubes, vinyl, Senn headphones, or some similar lush sound. Grados were the anti-fuzz, if I remember the definition right.
