An interesting idea, but since I've stopped drinking for a while, my chances of sending them out in an inebriated fit of trusting, generosity and goodwill towards man/woman are greatly lessened

If you'll send that pair to me, I'll break it in and listen to it over the next year. Then we can do a comparison and see if it actually has a problem or just needed some break in.

Well, if you haven't it sucks.
I spent the last day and half in a hospital due to a severe case of it. I got discharged today and it is a whole lot better but not 100% yet. At least the scans of my brain showed nothing unusual, so they think it's just something viral.
I get it every time I hear a national level politician speak.

Actually, I think making a side deal with J is more likely to get the upgrades done at CanJam.

Bipolar. She coos like a pigeon when she's happy, and she whines like a baby when she's cranky. And the two are remarkable in that they can transition between rooms.
The transitions will smooth out with more burn-in. The difference is night and day.

I finally unpacked the old Lafayette tuner that I bought from Miguel Arroyo many months ago. Besides needing a switch box, I need an indoor FM antenna. Can anybody recommend one? I'd like to spend no more than $50.

The Lakers may or may not actually contend for a championship this year. Between the injuries and the need to rebuild chemistry, it would be difficult. However, they are now positioned to contend for the next 4 or so years. They had already strengthened themselves over the off season and then the kidnapping of Pau pushed them back into the NBA elite. Now I'm looking forward to watching them again.

I spent most of my formative years in SoCal so I'm a Laker's fan. For me, this is the first time since the Showtime era that they've been fun to watch. They are actually playing team ball. It's what Phoenix would like to play as it translates better to the playoffs. If Bynum can come back and the chemistry stays, they are a contender this year and have great prospects for the next 3 to 6 years.

A very reasonable way to use the Duet with Windows would be to use a "Macintosh" simulator and run it in there. Google showed several possibilities. I have no idea how good or complete the simulations are. If you can find a good one, it would do the trick.

Source isn't available. It's apple proprietary code. It's integral to how apple does audio. I'd say it's not a practical task at all. But who knows.
