JH Audio stuffs
Me neither. Also, I never quite got the concert hall analogy with headphones. No matter which headphones I'm using, I always feel "on stage", with some headphones having a more present sound than others. With that said, 5th-10th row is where I like to sit, so that could explain why I'm not looking for the same sound as HPA.

Deepak, I'm curious, on which forum do you get your info for classical recordings? I'm interested to make my classical collection grow a bit now that CDs are getting super cheap.

Nope, just redbook.

From what I've read, the mastering shoud be different on the redbook layer of the SACDs, but they also sell at 10$ each. I have a dozen of the SACD hybrids, so I'll be able to compare them.

They're not the SACDs though if that's what's you're looking for. Not sure how big the difference is between Living Stereo CDs and SACDs, I've looked for information and didn't find anything useful.

I'm not sure if Jacob's basement is still in open registration, maybe he'll need to ask for an invite there too.

Last dynamic Headphone
Speakers? As far as I'm concerned, all dynamic headphones I've heard had at least one major flaw, but if I had to recommend one, I'd say Sennheiser HD650. Unfortunately, they're painfully slow compared to electrostats, which means you should listen to The Monkey's opinion, if only because you don't want him to get angry at you.

The Live Music Thread
Cool review Dusty, Porcpuine Tree always put on a very good show in my experience. The Sky Moves Sideways live, must have been awesome. I couldn't catch them on this tour unfortunately, I would have loved to hear how The Incident sounds live because I'm too fond of the album.

Audeze LCD-2
There are douchebags everywhere, the way to go is to ignore them. I personally wouldn't avoid going to a meet just because someone I don't like online is there, for one fool I'm sure there will be a bunch of friendly guys.

Custom built PC
Last upgrade for a long while on my machine, I just added 2 Noctua 120mm fans and a Coolermaster Hyper 212+. It runs super cool now, 18C on idle and 40C under 99% load and fans are surprisingly quiet, compared to 30C idle before and 75C under load with the stock Intel cooler and Antec case fans. Very satisfied for the ~70$ this upgrade has cost me.

Monster Miles Davis Tribute Earphones
I suggest reading at a place that doesn't charge 5$ for an espresso, with the spare cash you'll be able to invest in a pair of JH13. Problem solved.

JH Audio stuffs
Dude, either your audiologist is very bad or the insides of your ears are like a maze, sounds to me like you'll never be 100% satisfied.

How high can the JH13 scale?
I'd be super happy to have in-ear SR-003 with a portable energizer. Unfortunately, as it is now, the SR-003 are terrible in terms of comfort and don't isolate at all. No comparison really with the JH13.
