  1. ios7 crashed my mini. Seems similar to what's reported here: http://www.theatlanticwire.com/technology/2013/09/should-you-upgrade-ios-7-guide/69563/ Rolling back to an older backup, we will see.
  2. This is the TO-220 torque guidance that I usually reference: http://www.vishay.com/docs/72674/72674.pdf
  3. I use lighter fluid.
  4. anyone have a FPE discount code I could use?
  5. Very similar. I don't use the ground strap on the PCB and connect the earth that runs through both umbilicals at this point. The chassis is connected through the XLR connector itself. I do not remember how the LEDs interacted at power on. Thinking about this more, has a ground loop been created? I realize both umbilical cables need to have a chassis connections so they can be used separately. Maybe it would be useful to someone accomodate for this with a jumper or switch? Maybe a ground loop breaker is better than direct ground to earth in the PSU chassis? Can antiparallel diodes act fast enough in case of a fault?
  6. George, did you tie together GND and EARTH inside the PSU chassis? Still thinking about your channel dependance...
  7. Maybe this is one of the threads? http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=861150
  8. I have heard people having issues with the sapphire version (not suggesting it has anything to do with the actual material, that seem absurd, just that model i guess). Might want to verify it works before the return period expires.
  9. Posting again, no real reason why.
  10. I had a few interesting ones in Russia this year. My favorite was garlic dill.
  11. Now people are going to do the same on the KGSS... again. Hennyo?

Heh. Tapatalk failed me last night. It is dead to me.
  14. Justin: I have always wondered why people dont use threaded flanges. Seems like a good idea to me.
  15. (Douchy HF voice) What did the original T2 use? I prefer to follow the original designers intent for maximum plankton retrieval capability.
  16. With the PEEK screws the question is whether you need to use loktite. I think Inu did. If this is the case this presents a another issue other than the fact that you will get decreased device life from improper torque. I dont see it an obvious choice. Justin may have a point given his situation. Others not sure.
  17. Isnt the TO126 by definition have a plastic case? Again maybe it helps dumb assemblyman but a proper insulator and a stainless screw should be fine. Bonus points of you use a belleville washer on top.

  19. Plankton bait?
  20. Nylon 6/6 should be properly rated. What am I missing?
  21. I agree with previous posts that they don't provide enough torque.
  22. Mouser sells nylon screws with a aluminum core (if I remember) that worked for me in the past and I could apply excellent torque. I can look for a part number later, but I think Eagle was the manufacturor..
  23. Would M3 work? Would you be willing to cut them down to size?
