i'm on a roll... the kgsshv
If it is 80 mA DC then 150 mA RMS isn't overkill at all, it's a bare minmum.

Is the 150 mA specified as AC RMS? What is the DC current draw of the amp?

If one of the SK170 is bad (my guess) I can match a new one for ya.

Measure the voltage drop across the four 22 ohm resistors that degenerate the four input 2SK170 to start with. Also the 10 ohm near the 2SK389. Compare channels.

DC heater with like 1VAC ripple might be proprietary. AC-DC heaters ?

Fuck in snow
Car wouldn't start today. Battery was too cold. The issue was it was blocking the car that was in the garage. Said frozen car wouldn't shift into neutral either. So, sorta held the shifter down and shoved it towards N and it would kinda move assuming lots of pressure in the shifter.. So, backed one car into the other to help move it and an Austin Powers esque scene ensued trying to get the one car out around the other car. Finally after some slight damage and blocking the street for a good while, was able to jump said frozen car. Yeah. It was not fun.

Would be fun to populate the four outputs and the input and see how high you can get THD+N. I bet you could do 5%.

Fuck in snow
Hard to describe why this is the case, but they ran out of places to put the snow where I live. Heh. Also I inflicted what felt like someone slamming my hand in a door by not wearing gloves for like 5 minutes and shoveling snow. Ouch.

T2 knob turning
That is possible here that it is a way to dry the wood, but it was done with hazardous chemicals and definitely used to beautify the material. The term is fumed and I am pretty sure there isn't much heat applied, if any. Hence the appeal to the woodworker and chemist

T2 knob turning
Question for the Dr's Wood and Gilmore. Ever heard of "fumed wood"? I was at a luthier (violinmaker) yesterday and started talking wood and she showed me some beautiful fumed boxwood. I am not sure what they used hundreds of years ago in terms of chemicals (nitric oxide?), but this seemed like a very cool Gilmore knob concept Glad to cover prototype costs and I have a feeling Kevin could come up with something super unique.

Similar. I have no idea what alternate reality I have stepped into. We are not in Texas anymore.
