  1. I will have company that weekend - will check if there is interest - if so then yes.
  2. Cheaper (not better) -- I used U-haul small boxes to move my 2k+ collection from my last place. Book-Box Since they are 12^3. I packed them in one way and stretched the box out slightly to fit. I have not noticed an issue with any of the pressings since. Note -- I did not use a moving company.. and I personally moved the record boxes myself as well only stacking them 2 high (no friends or family were trusted)... I just noticed a new box that they have Small-Moving-Box 16-3/8" x 12-5/8" x 12-5/8" Gives a little bit more room... (I would have used these if they were available at the time) But none give the safely of the crate if you are not moving them yourself. Also depends on how many LP's you are talking about.
  3. Good thing none of us live there... oh wait.....
  4. Happy Birthday....
  5. I'd give a butt rub to eat that..
  6. Yes it is true - that most of the American Whisky you see on the shelves comes from about 3 distilleries - contract distilling. Give them a recipe and money and they give you barrels. You make up a name and put it on the shelves. It takes a lot of research to find out where it comes from. One of the reasons I like single malt - Bowmore = Bowmore. A lot of High west these days is pretty legit, Dave had to buy casks from various places to get off the ground, but makes a lot of it now. But it is easy to supplement.
  7. Nope other than my little 'yep sounds good' from post 1304. New feedbands .. They have upgraded to a lined inner sleeve. It is hard to inspect white vinyl. Mammoth Indigo
  8. Cheers To Ricciardo.. Fernando outdrove his car (and the field) and was amazing... and fair play to Hamilton to come from the back to the podium - one of the better drives I have ever seen...
  9. gots to love super old threads...
  10. ^^ understand all of that...
  11. lots of listening.... I was not expecting to keep this recording - but the 7th really did capture me - mono but I am fine with that.... Just too good of a performance and recording to consider purging.. worthy... Historically good but not great and recording not up to snuff to listen to. Another boxed set that I thought was throw away... wrong - No.22 captured great... (along with the others) Another I never expected to keep - these guys from the 1800's know what they are doing - recording is good - but everything else is there in spades. Fun with the insides as well.. What is this? and where did it come from? .. I don't know - but it is going to stick around for a bit... (70's goodness - you may know "Just remember I love you") Escape? - yes, yes I will... along with the rest of the tunes.. Okay... Starcastle - Fountains of Light.. what the actual Fuck? -- How did I have this for so long and not know that this album pretty much kicked ass? -- 1977 - Yes ripoff that I think is killer. (fan) (fuzzy phone pics... but fun evening)....
