  1. ^ This Saturday night, Norton, 47, will commentate on Eurovision for BBC One for a second time, having replaced Terry Wogan last year. This was a challenge, as Wogan had had the job for 28 years, but Norton did well: like Wogan, he has a knack for the sardonic yet affectionate quip. He wasn’t nervous till he sat in the commentary booth: “I thought, ‘Oh God – this could be a disaster.’ But it seemed to go without incident and people were quite favourable. So hopefully they won’t be appalled this year either.” Graham Norton: ‘Susan Boyle should be our Eurovision entrant’ - Telegraph
  2. Both Eurovision 2010 Semi finals. Probably not enough Pumping Shiny Cheese for Duggeh's taste, maybe. Seemed to go big on power ballads, with a key change and big finish, sung by statuesque pretty young things, but who's complaining? not me. The final on Saturday should be an enjoyable affair, now we are down to the final 25 "European" nations (that include Israel and many former Soviet Republics) If this makes no sense to you, I suggest you try Eurovision Song Contest 2010: the contestants in pictures - Telegraph (esp with AutoPagerize for Chrome ) and check out the HD videos - fun stuff

  16. Opinions vary ( see the epic thread Costco selling Hyatt Check Certificates (Not Applicable to Pre-paid Rates) - FlyerTalk Forums for more opinions ) . If it works, good. If not, i kept the receipt, so can take them back to Costco for a full refund. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Edit: looks like I was both lucky, and a mere amateur http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/13977023-post1058.html . Someone understands the concept of arbitrage (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arbitrage)
  17. Bunch of 2 x $50 Hyatt Check Certificatestm for $79.99 from Costco in SF to help with CJ. Every little helps. Any prospective savings were offset by excessive unplanned purchases at said Costco.* *We'll just get a few things we need. ooh, these are a real bargain ... we could do with some of these ... . At checkout ... how did that just happen?
